Ninjas on the ‘Net

[Image: Objects in orbit around the earth, via]
Wow. Even space is a mess [don't worry too much - that's a diagram, not a photo]. Riddle me this, tho – all this $hit up there floating around bouncing signals all over the place, yet my internet drops out too much and my cell drops calls. With that many satellites in orbit I should be able to hit-up Krypton if I feel like it – let alone make a local call.
Infrastructure my people – we need it.
Anyways, my personal telecommunications problems aside – here are this week’s selected interweb links. The list is a little short – but I spent a lot of free time reading about these politricks and their general foolishness – BS that I feel no need to inflict upon anyone else, and which I’m sure you’re all familiar with anyways. As always, drop us an email if you find anythign that you think should be linked-to / featured on AMNP at architecture@myninjaplease.com. Happe Monday, my ninjas.
- First off, I got the H Arquitectes feature page up and running – head over to check out everything we’ve featured by them so far.
- I just discovered The Printed Blog [many of you may know of it already], which takes an assortment of blog postings an combine them into a newspaper [basically]. Seems interesting – I look forward to seeing how it all works out [yes, you can buy printed copies at some newsstands].
- Irony is incredible – and now one of the most luxurious places on the planet is overrun with poop. Dubai, you will never cease to amaze us.
- the Guardian talks with Siza
- BD asks if architecture is ‘heading for the rocks‘. I hope not, as I’m still paying these student loans…
- The Bird’s Nest is becoming a mall? Really?
- The LA Times features a courtyard home in LA’s Chinatown.
- FLW was the architect of love?
- Brazilians protecting Brasilia from…Niemeyer? What?
- Sustainable homes in Syracuse [competition winners].
- Russia builds a giant digital clock on the face of a new tower, which we assume was originally designed in the ’80s.
- I had this Picassa album link sent to me by a co-worker. Pretty hilarious.
- last but most definitely not least – don’t forget about the rest of the MNP [My Ninja Please!] crew: the parent site, MyNinjaPlease; MusicMNP; GreenMNP; PolitricksMNP; and RobotNinja.
- and that about wraps up this week’s Ninjas on the ‘Net – but don’t forget, you should also be clicking those sidebar links + buttons and checking out all of our blogging ninjas out there.
