A little bit about architecture.MNP:

architecture.MNP is a member of the MyNinjaPlease Online Network, a subsidiary of The MNP Group. Founded in the Fall of ‘06, it was the first of the MyNinjaPlease microsites, which now include:

The site aims to bring readers a daily [or damn near] supply of architecture and design from around the web – and the globe – showcasing all of the illest, most interesting, and often times craziest architecture that these ninjas can find. Contrary to popular belief, architecture – and architecture blogs + websites – isn’t just for design geeks. A solid knowledge of the built environment is an important aspect of every ninjas mental training + weaponry [ninjas are educated and versatile creatures], and this site will bring it to you in a vernacular thats accessible to all. Respect the architect.

We get a lot of [sometimes foolish] questions here at MyNinjaplease, many of which are addressed by the main site. But for those of y’all that aren’t in the know, we’ve compiled some FAQ’s here on the architecture page as well. Read up.

Q. Architects are ninjas?
A. Not all of them – but most, yes. Think about the similarities: both have underground extensive training in multiple defensive and offensive arts, neither sleep [its the cousin of death], both know everything about everything – and are constantly schooling the masses, both exist best in total harmony with their environment, both [well, most] operate in the background – manipulating the world around them without the knowledge of the masses.

Q. Do the ninjas have jobs?
A. WHAT? This is a job, sonny. If you mean ‘do the ninjas have OTHER jobs’ then yes. Ninjas are hustlers – and when living in a capitalist economy, they’ve got to get that paper paper. Katanas, shurikens + t-squares aren’t cheap.

Q. How do I contact the ninjas?
A. Well, you could throw a giant MNP ninja signal in the sky [where do you think Batman got that idea? We hipped him to that while teaching him karate] – or drop us an email at architecture@myninjaplease.com or suggest@myninjaplease.com

Q. If I see a Ninja on the street?
A. HA! If you see a Ninja on the street, you must be a Ninja yourself – or he/she is off their game, and should be confronted immediately. Acting like regular folk can just see Ninjas on the street, like we let our guard down, my ninja please…

Editor/Writer: Ryan McClain

Ryan graduated in 2006 from Roger Williams University’s SAAHP with a BARCH, and is currently an intern architect working in Boston. AKA ‘OrangeMenace’ [thats one word], AKA ‘13menacingNINJAS’, AKA ‘the redheaded stepchild’, AKA ‘ARCHIsensei’ – Ryan reached 9th Dan status a number of lifetimes ago, and teams up with BlackOctagons and Kookiekrumbles to form the MNP triad [krumblin' orange octagons? menacin' black kookies? what?] – helping you to pick the knowledge from all that garbage clogging up your internets.

Contributors [the architecture.MNP shogunate]:

Warren: AKA ‘Dubs’, AKA ‘archininja#1′, AKA ‘Warren San’, AKA ‘action jackson’, AKA ‘the Shogun of Norwalk’ – is also a Roger Dodger grad, earning his BARCH in 2006 as well. Our CT based ninja, Dubs strives to strike down those who would replace great buildings with strip malls and ferrari dealerships in the Constitution State, while fighting for great new design. Warren was the first addition to the architecture.MNP fam, was instrumental in establishing the site, and continues to be a valuable resource and role model to ninjas everywhere.

César Cotta : Writer of the Spanish sister site to architecture.MNP, César joined the shogunate at the POSTOPOLIS! event – responding to the orangemenace’s request for someone willing to translate the page for all those Spanish speaking ninjas the world over. César is also the mastermind behind the incredibly ingenious MNP original series [so don't bite our steeze, because dude will hunt you down] Ninja Arithmetic.
