I spotted this over at BLDGBLOG and as I’ve always loved comic books I just couldn’t help but throw some of these images up here for this week’s Eye Candy. The project depicted in the images is “Willa’s Wonderland“, an urban design comic strip set on the fringes of Atlanta by LOOMstudio and Amy Landesberg Architects, in collaboration with artist John Grider and writer Julia Klatt-Singer.

The entire project is highly ninja-recommended. Also, if you’re interested in architecture + comics, check out the blog No Words No Action – I’m not sure it’s still being updated, but there’s some interesting stuff on there worth taking a look at – including the authors M.Arch dissertation.

::Eye Candy is a weekly post on exactly what it sounds like – something cool to look at, whether because the project is ill or simply because it warrants a ‘my ninjas, please‘. Find it here on architecture.MNP every Wednesday along with the Ninja Arithmetic feature – because hump-day is a bitch for ninjas, too::
