I’d love to question why people love these lists so much – but really, they’re great ‘free’ advertising for AMNP [and stroke my ever-inflating ego], so I won’t talk shit.

The latest list – ‘Yet Another Most Popular Blog Ranking‘, by arch Daily – separates the list into ‘architecture only’, ‘architecture + related’ and then combines the two.

I have some questions about how this ordering was actually established – since YAMOPO differs greatly with Michiel’s MOPO 2008 – but it’s got us at #5 [the order in the image above is the actual list], so I’ll just bask in all my awesomeness over here and keep my mouth shut.

  2. See, you weren’t on the list – and I can’t imagine it’s because you’re traffic is lower than all these ninjas here…I bet arch Daily forgot about you, or has slept on your site in general.

AMNP may be doing its own, totally NOT impartial, list…

  3. You are my personal favorite. How could ANYONE not love the ninjas? But we tried to make this objective as possible with those variables (updates, alexa, page rank) in order to be a unbiased rank.

    keep it up ninja.

  6. Who said crying doesn’t make you any friends? Booyah, dis-proven ;-D

I actually don’t think very highly of Alexa…I still have yet to figure out how to get anything coherent out of their traffic pages for non-top-100 blogs (like Where, for instance). If their estimation of the nationality of visitors is any hint though, I’d say they’re not as much on the ball as they’d like people believe. Unless Sitemeter is a big fat liar, there’s no way that 85% of Where’s traffic is from the US.
