  1. I can’t get enough of this video. It is really popular on the net these days it seems. I think it is because it shows what we maybe lost in this age of computing. who would think to build mechanisms that measure a person’s back in such an analog way? or how about using clay or modeling putty to create a mold for a factory item? No we would use rhino and rapid prototyping. im not saying that one method is better than the other although the differences are clear and maybe it is important for us as architects to think about when working with a physical medium might be more appropriate than jumping straight into CAD’s perfect vectors. This video definitely has inspired me to try a more low tech method for my next design challenge and see how useful it really is.
