It’s Monday – which means it’s time for some interweb linkage here on AMNP.
As always, if you have a link you’d like to share with the AMNP fam – or would like to submit work, etc, to have featured on the page, hit us up at architecture@myninjaplease.com.

- The New York Post reports that the ‘Freedom Tower’ will simply go by ‘One World Trade Center’ – seems that the port authority finally realized how ridiculous the name was, and that we don’t have to add silly monikers to everything in the US to prove something to the world. Rebuilding and moving ahead is enough.

- The NY Times looks at our current opportunity to reshape our cities in the US, and at a new vision of Paris.

- Where gets into the American housing crisis.

- Slate features a panel discussion on design entitled What is Good Design Now?, and a collection of recession photos.

- Gehry interviewed at the Architect’s Newspaper.

- the Architects’ Journal looks into the architecture of the drug trade.

- the Bauhaus opens its former student quarters to tourists as a B&B, via the Guardian.

- BD Online features an op-ed urging designers to be proactive, and plan for the global economy’s return.

- Elias Redston, curator of the Architecture Foundation in London, travels through Mexico and South America and chronicles his research of contemporary architects practicing in Central and South America.

- POSTOPOLIS! starts tomorrow, so don’t sleep if you in Cali.

That wraps up this week’s Ninjas on the ‘Net – don’t forget, you should also be clicking those sidebar links + buttons and checking out all of our blogging ninjas out there – and be sure to check out AMNP’s parent site, MyNinjaPlease.
